Centre Médical Mieux-Être is currently seeking a nurse clinician.

The nurse clinician works in collaboration with the on-site professional team. They are responsible for performing diagnostic or therapeutic services required for their patients in accordance with the company's procedures. The work may be carried out in various service points, such as clinics, testing centers, businesses, or at home.

Required Profile

  • Be a member in good standing with OIIQ (Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec)

  • Possess prescribing rights

  • Speak and write excellent French. Proficiency in English is an asset

  • Have skills in problem analysis and resolution as well as in priority management

  • Be able to provide services related to the profession

  • Work independently and show initiative

  • Be capable of working in a team and handling urgent situations

  • Communicate effectively and be customer service-oriented

  • Proficiency in clerical work and comfort with computer skills is an asset

Main Duties

  • Communicate with the patient before the appointment to complete the file and assess their needs

  • Take responsibility for a set of nursing care based on the biopsychosocial needs of assigned patients or groups of individuals

  • Assess the patient's health status, determine and ensure the implementation of the nursing care and treatment plan

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate teaching for patients, their families, and groups of individuals

  • Participate in the assessment: Welcome the person, conduct a preliminary observation, and if necessary, prepare the person for the examination

  • Collect data: reason for consultation, current state of the person, family, medical, surgical history, medication, allergies, lifestyle habits, etc

  • Fill out specific questionnaires with the person: ADHD, depression, and sleep apnea

  • Collaborate with clinic staff, physicians, and receptionists

  • Perform various services such as electrocardiogram, blood pressure measurement, MATA, and holter

  • Ensure compliance with standards required by protocols and adhere to current regulations
