    • Viscosupplementation infiltration: The viscosupplement is a natural substance found in the synovial fluid of the joints. Its injection lubricates the cartilage, thus reducing friction and pain. Its effectiveness in relieving pain can take from one to several weeks, but typically lasts from 6 to 12 months, sometimes longer.
